Faith

During my prayer hour today, the song “Let me touch you and see if you are real” (A beautiful song) came to my mind and i began to sing it a little in my head but while I was singing it, this thought came to mind: Why do you have to touch me to see if I’m real?  I was like WOW! I continued to Thank God for the many things, he is to me and my natural mind began to move like a movie screen and this is what I saw.  I saw a stove, some flames and immediately I heard this:  Do you need to touch these things to know that they are hot? and of course I said NO!  I said that to say this, we take some things for granted just because we have faith that it’s going to do what it is designed to do.  We know that if you turn on the stove, it’s going to get hot and if we make a fire, the flames are going to radiate heat so is it with Jesus.  If we pray and trust God, He will do exactly what He is suppose to do.  We have to have Faith in God more than we have faith in the natural things and people.  We say we trust God to make a way but we still worry.  We ask God to provide but still worry.  We ask God to save or loved ones but we still look at the current status.  God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could even ask or think.  According to Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the things hoped form the evidence of things not seen. So we need to stop looking at the current situation and have sone NOW FAITH!  Either you will trust God to do what He has the power to do or you don’t….it’s just that simple.  God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, He has to, will not, and can not change so if He did it before, why will He not do it again!  Let us continue to trust God at His word because we don’t want to miss the promise because of our lack of faith.  Hebrew 11:39 – And these all having a good report through faith, received not the promise:  Keep the faith and don’t give up!
