Let’s Talk

Can I be transparent with you today?  Can I really be just blunt?  Can I say how I feel….really?  I don’t want to be judged or ridiculed but I want to be loved and my words received as me just being me so let’s talk.

I am a woman who loves God and the things of God.  I am Saved and Holy Ghost filled however;  there are times when ME, Myself, and I better know as the flesh has its moments.  Some saved people believe that if you admit or speak on these feelings, you are letting the enemy talk to you or control you but I beg to differ.  The very thing we call the devil is just our personal feelings.

Can a Saint be transparent enough to express their inner feelings without questioning their relationship with God?  Can we just admit that our faith is a little weak?  Can I tell I tell you that I’m in a bad place and your pray for me and not preach at me?  Can I say to you let’s talk?

When we go through these moments, it doesn’t always mean that you’re not saved, backslidden or lost relationship with God, it could mean that you a human being, having a human experience.  I’m Still Saved!

Faith

During my prayer hour today, the song “Let me touch you and see if you are real” (A beautiful song) came to my mind and i began to sing it a little in my head but while I was singing it, this thought came to mind: Why do you have to touch me to see if I’m real?  I was like WOW! I continued to Thank God for the many things, he is to me and my natural mind began to move like a movie screen and this is what I saw.  I saw a stove, some flames and immediately I heard this:  Do you need to touch these things to know that they are hot? and of course I said NO!  I said that to say this, we take some things for granted just because we have faith that it’s going to do what it is designed to do.  We know that if you turn on the stove, it’s going to get hot and if we make a fire, the flames are going to radiate heat so is it with Jesus.  If we pray and trust God, He will do exactly what He is suppose to do.  We have to have Faith in God more than we have faith in the natural things and people.  We say we trust God to make a way but we still worry.  We ask God to provide but still worry.  We ask God to save or loved ones but we still look at the current status.  God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could even ask or think.  According to Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the things hoped form the evidence of things not seen. So we need to stop looking at the current situation and have sone NOW FAITH!  Either you will trust God to do what He has the power to do or you don’t….it’s just that simple.  God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, He has to, will not, and can not change so if He did it before, why will He not do it again!  Let us continue to trust God at His word because we don’t want to miss the promise because of our lack of faith.  Hebrew 11:39 – And these all having a good report through faith, received not the promise:  Keep the faith and don’t give up!

Don’t Faint

As I reflect on life, I realize that  no matter where I am, I am better than I was!  Life throws many challenging blows at us but we must be willing to be a good soldier. (Not just when things are going well but even in the rough times).   We sing the song I’m a Soldier in the Army of the Lord”, so we have to be that soldier at all times.  If the Soldiers in the Natural Army were to tuck and run at times of war and hardships, where would we be? (Thank You Soldiers for your service).

We must gird our loins and go into warfare.  If and When we get to a place where we can not go forward, then we must stand still and mark time until the way is made for us to go forward.  In the Word of God, there was no protection given for our backs so don’t turn around or go backwards.  Ephesians 6:13-18.

Whoever told us that LIFE would be a bed of roses (saved or unsaved) was so mistaken.  LIFE is just what is says LIFE! Now how we deal with or handle it makes all the difference.  Will you cry? Yes and how many tears will never be known.  Will LIFE always go the way you want? Will people always be for you or in your corner? Will we be hurt by those who we love or love us?  These are some serious questions and the answers are and will be surprising to some.  That is why the Word of God tells us to “Lean not on our own Understanding” (Proverbs 3:5)

Think back and then begin to “Thank God” for where He brought you from and where He’s taking you!  Don’t get weary in well doing and Don’t Faint! (Galatians 6:9).  Be Encouraged!

Discard

Discard means to throw something away because it is useless or unwanted; to remove.

Trash is thrown away, old clothes are removed from our closets, items we no longer need or desire are given away, passed down or just thrown away; however we do these things to one another.

A seven letter word can cause damage and growth at the same time.

People, are discarded just like our day to day trash, but not at first.  We esteem them so highly in the beginning but as soon as they no longer act as we feel they should, we get  rid of them or should I say “Throw them away”!

As we grow in God, we should also grown in Grace, but instead we become critical of those who haven’t grown as quickly.  We find many faults in them that we decide it time to move or remove people from our lives but if you look back, these same faults were there – we just overlooked them.

As we outgrow clothing in the natural, we either take them in or give them away so should we do people in the spiritual.  If we outgrow people spiritually then we should take them in by encouraging them and showing love.  We should also give them away to God through our intercession on their behalf.  We should never get to the point where we think we’re better than anyone.  The bible declares that we should not think more highly of ourselves. Romans 12:3 (paraphrased)  We should not discard others like yesterday’s trash because we have faults and have made a few errors along the way.

Remember, we are our sister and brothers keeper and that doesn’t mean only the ones we are close to, that fit in our circle, but also those that may challenge you a little or a lot!  It also includes those who mistreat you, lie on you, and the list can go on and on.  If we are truly striving to be like Christ, then we have to do it! YES, even the things or people we want to discard.

God didn’t discard (throw away or remove) us when we went through our time of indecisiveness, so who are we to think we should do it to others.

Let us show love and grace one to another!  People Matter

Welcome to my blog!

Today I would like to just talk from the heart.  As I learn daily how to die to SELF, I find that God really has a sense of humor.  When you think you have things under control and nothing can bother you; that is when the unexpected things happen that tend to shake you just a little.  I thank God that His GRACE is suffiecient during these times.  Some days are without hiccups but some days, the hiccups are so bad that you can’t catch your breath.

“Life is but a Dream” is part of a nursery rhyme, but if you are really living LIFE, it is more than a dream; sometimes it can feel like a nightmare but I’m thankful that I know who can turn the nightmare into a love story!
The Love of God will carry you through ANY situation! NO matter the problem, how great or small it may be, learn to trust the PROBLEM SOLVER!
